Calculate your TOB Filed too late?
Supported: Interactive Brokers (Flex Query CSV), Trading212. Trade Republic coming.
- Export your transactions from your broker (CSV)
- Upload the file - we recognize the rate for each ETF or share
- Copy the figures into DivTax and pay with the structured reference
The right rate per ISIN
0.12%, 0.35% or 1.32%? It depends on the fund's FSMA registration. Our database knows the classic BEFire funds (IWDA, VWCE, ...) and a short questionnaire handles unknown ISINs.
Per month, the way DivTax wants it
Since July 2025 you file online through MyMinfin, per month and per rate. We group your transactions exactly like that and show each month's deadline.
Dollars? No problem
Transactions in USD or any other currency are converted to euro at the ECB reference rate of the trade date.
Frequently asked questions
- I bought a US share in dollars - what amount do I declare?
- The euro amount, converted at the ECB reference rate of the trade date. This tool does that automatically.
- Is there a minimum below which I don't have to declare?
- No. Every purchase AND sale through a foreign broker is taxable and must be declared, however small.
- My broker is Belgian - do I need to do anything?
- No, Belgian brokers (Bolero, Keytrade, ...) withhold the tax automatically, and so does Saxo Belgium. IBKR and Trading212 do not - there you do it yourself.
- What about the new 10% capital gains tax?
- Since 1 January 2026 Belgium taxes realized capital gains above EUR 10,000 per person at 10%. Belgian banks withhold it automatically, but with foreign brokers like IBKR, Trading212, DEGIRO and Trade Republic you must compute it yourself (FIFO, using the 31 December 2025 value as your starting point) and declare it in your 2027 tax return. This tool covers the TOB today; a capital gains module is in the works.
